This UXDiscuss will look at UX for VR. With Google Cardboard and Oculus Rift Virtual Reality (VR) is starting to approach consumer level. With these new systems of interaction and experiences, the role of the UX team will see new challenges. How may we prepare and adapt? What kind of new challenges do you expect and what tools do you feel you already have to create incredible VR solutions?
The #uxdiscuss event will be held on 14th January 2016 ( 14/01/2016) at 1pm UK time (8am Eastern US).
The questions we will be discussing are:
- How important do you think VR will be as a user interface over the next 18 months?
- How useful do you think VR will be in day-to-day use? What UX implications will this have?
- What examples have you seen of great UI or UX for VR devices? What makes these examples work well?
The questions will be posted to Twitter via @uxdiscuss using the hashtag #uxdiscuss and all you have to do is join in.
We look forward to seeing you then!
